At Hoop and Bat, Parents develop skills in understanding and collaborating with educational systems, advocacy, and resilience. Parents also learn how to better support their child/youth by navigating the various child-serving systems, including:
Division of Developmental, Disabilities, IEP/504, Vocational Rehabilitation, Juvenile Court, and Immigration Resources.

Sports mentoring
Basketball, and Baseball 

Hoop and Bat coaches will help mentor youth to develop the necessary skills in different sports by teaching the four foundations of training:
• Conditioning training (strength training,endurance training, flexibility training)
• Training of technique (Technical preparation)
• Training in tactics (Tactical preparation),Psychological training (Mental preparation).

Youth Mentor program

Our youth mentorship program is for advanced-level youth in different sports who will work with beginners and intermediate youth using a peer-to-peer youth model. The youth mentors will focus on team-building activities focused on Action, Change, Empowerment, Respect, and Support.

Club Basketball and Baseball team leagues 

Are you interested in joining an advanced basketball or baseball club league? We host open tryouts regularly for our upcoming events and recruit 3rd through 12 graders: Hoop and Bat league participants in AAU, NCAA, local, and out-of-state competitions.
